Having been around the 'distro block' more times than I care to share, my fall back has always been Mint. MX being a good second choice.

Mint is Ubuntu and Debian. Simple and stable. Good social support.

I would also add Q4OS to this list. Works very well with older 32-bit computers using the Trinity Desktop. And for newer machines, I like it with Plasma.

Dude, I know things that I do not know that I know yet. All I have to do is get on the inter dimensional time based flux telephone, consult future me, and then I suddenly know what I didn't know.

KDE neon and POP_OS are my favorites. Also I like manjaro and Solus

Yes. I know what you mean over information what can checked on uncle search webside but diffrent countries and resource can gived a quality answear for question asked.

Some forums even would not allow a discussion on other distros I've heard.

I was wondering too, where did they go, does anybody know, cause I don't know. And thats the thing with Linux, many choices available to you, thinking about the endless choice, could cause you to turn blue!
Be greatful there are choices though, cause Windows and MAC OS don't give you choice, you know why? Cause they make the choice for you.
And FrenchPress is right, sites for other Linux distro's will often not allow you to talk about other Linux distro's. I'd like to think that we are very friendly here.
The open-minded part, thats the best part of our forum, we accept who you are, and don't make unhealthy demands on you.

I am waiting Zorin OS Lite because my pc have a problems with gpu. I have 15.3 ult could test this?
That is good to be a "crazy" - sciencist Einstein , Tesla also was little weird and they doing great work for the world.
Fedora, optionally with Arc Menu and Dash to Panel extensions.
I'm pondering whether Centos Stream 9 would make a good less bleeding edge daily driver.

Personally I don't like Mint because the Cinnamon DE has Pulse Audio embedded into it - try and remove it and the whole system goes with it. Did not try the pulse audio off trick with Mint 20.2 though - perhaps I should have tried it but don't want to bother now that I have sorted it out on Zorin 16 with KDE Plasma installed!
Unfortunately Tesla car company has nothing to do with Nikola Tesla and all his works are now owned by the US Military. Elon Musk wants us to be robotic slaves, a bit like the nightmare that Kurzweil imagined for humanity where we become even bigger slaves to the system. What Nikola Tesla did was invent energy that could benefit humankind but could also be used as a weapon of destruction which is why he never made it public, and sadly he died a penniless pauper.

Also Cobalt is essential for Lithium batteries - 60% of the world's supply is in the Congo in Africa. The cobalt is then shipped to processing plants in China and Japan and then shipped around the world to where they need to be. Shipping causes more pollution to the Earth than Airplanes and cars combined - remember Earth is 66.6% water and 33.3% land.
And there is only 30 years known cobalt supply left - Perhaps then people will have realised that Hydrogen cars would have been better!
