Does anyone know how to transform images in Pinta? I need to be able to correct perspective, straighten images etc. and there doesn't seem to be a function for this - something I have always done in photo editing. There is usually a box with handles that you can tweak for this.

Maybe try Gimp. It offers more Options. There would be Krita or Inkscape, too.

Thanks. I've tried Gimp. It seems to have changed recently and isn't nearly as user friendly as it used to be. On my original Zorin laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad) which has less memory, Gimp constantly crashed. On this HP ZBook that doesn't seem to be a problem but I really don't like the interface much. I'd prefer an alternative. Inkscape is a vector drawing program which I've used for years for creating files for my electronic cutting machine. It won't edit bitmaps. I'm looking at Krita but haven't had a chance to investigate it properly yet. I also tried installing Affinity with Wine but got nowhere with that.

Same problem. They drastically changed Gimp for 3.0 and it is a nightmare to use, now.
I nuked it, then installed Gimp 2.99 to solve the problem.
