hello everyone, I installed Zorin Os 18 hours on desktop pc. i want to install a printer (epson SX-5200)... I ask how to install from terminal
epson sx-5200 is old enough that cups usually wants the escpr driver
-sudo apt update
-sudo apt install cups printer-driver-escpr system-config-printer
-plug it in then run system-config-printer
or open http://localhost:631 → Administration → Add Printer
if it still doesnt show:
-lsusb | rg -i epson
-lpinfo -v
Did You checked Settings>Printers if Your Printer is already detected automatically? Did You checked the Manufacturers Website if they offer Linux Drivers for Your Printer?
