Installation and hard disks

Good evening!
New user of Zorin, I find myself blocked. Let me explain: on my computer I have two disks, a 250GB SSD and a 2TO hard drive.
Playing video games, I installed Steam and there problem: impossible to choose my 2TO disc for my installations.
The computer finds it in the Steam app but it's impossible to select it... I'm completely distraught. I hope you can enlighten me. Sorry for the rough English, I use a translator.

Sounds like you installed Steam as a flatpak. Uninstal it and install the .deb(Zori OS) in the software center.

EDIT: I just checked. The Software center doesn't have the .deb package. Oddly... Howeverr you can download the .deb from Steam or just

sudo apt install steam

Hello, thank you very much for your answer. I tried your method and it actually works! Can you explain the reason for this if you like?
Thanks for your reply!

flatpaks and snaps are running in closed containers, therefor they can't see your drive/disk. If possible avoid flat and snap and go for .deb(Zorin OS).

Oh okay, thank you. To follow my question, is it possible to move an installed game? I installed the launchet FF14 via "software" except that it also got on disk 1. Should I uninstall and reinstall in the same way?

Thank you!

I don't think you can move games out of the container, never tried it though. Maybe someone else know.
