Installed a addintional driver now laptop is not usable

I had connected the HP dock G4 to my Lenovo Legion. I have two screens attached to my dock 1 with the HDMI and the other with a Displayport. The Displayport one gets really strange contrast, so I tried some other additional drivers, but now I do not have internet on my laptop and my mousepad is not /working. So I am not able to install another additional driver. Can anyone help me to install the previously used driver?

What exactly did You install? Maybe it is enough to uninstall it and make a Reboot.

A nvidia meta package driver from the additional drivers tab in software updater. Don't know which exacly... I was just trying some and hoped it would fix the issue I was having, because on Windows everything works like it should, so hardware is not the issue. (my pc is dual boot)

So, You have a Nvidia Card, yes? Because of Your Nvidia Card: Does Your System run in wayland or Xorg? To check that, go to Settings>About and look there for something like ''Window Manager'' or ''Display Manager'' or similar and check if there stands Wayland or X11. If there stands Wayland, You should try it with change to Xorg.

To do that, go to the Login Screen (not Lock Screen) and click on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. It has to be appeared. when it is appeared, You should see a Gear Icon in the bottom right Corner. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and then log in and test if it works better.

Shouldn't this be enough, I would suggest to stay on Xorg and try it with uninstalling the Nvidia Driver and reinstalling them over the Terminal.

It says X11, so I should just reinstall my Nvidia drivers? How can I do this when I don't have a internet connection?

Are You able to use a Cable connection?

Is also not working unfortunately...

I have dowloaded the Nvidia driver and transfered it with a USB stick while installing it could nog find my kernel header. So I was trying to add this and now I switched back to the graphical Interface (because for safety I switched to the terminal version while installing the new driver) and at startup I get BusyBox v1.30.1 (ubuntu 1:1.30.1-7ubuntu3.1) build-in shell (ash) and not albe to type anything. I think I have messed up all my files on my computer... Or is there a way to get out of this?

Could You post a Picture of it?

Because of the Data: If You still have the USB Stick with Zorin on it, You can start zorin in the Try Mode, open Nautilus (File Manager) and there go on the left side and click on ''Other Places'' and then You should see on the right Side a Link to Your Machine. Click on it and go through the Folders to copy Your Data and save them.

You mean I can make a backup using that way and then install zorin fresh? Think thats the best way indeed... Let me try to access my files on my laptop and make a bagkup...

I attached a picture of my current display

You could this Way copy Your Data, yes. And then a fresh Install.

I have selected another kernel version and was able to get back in my system. There I reinstalled my kernel drivers and my laptop is working once more.

Now I still need to figure out how I can get my HP dock G4 to work. Now no display is detected when I connect my dock. USB-keyboard and charging is working though

I was going to suggest that you do a rescue and switch kernels. Good work.

Yes, thanks! Just installed the newest Nvidia driver and I got an image on all 3 of my monitors, but the one which is connected via the Displayport says screen resolution not supported. When I use a smaller screen resolution it is working, but ofcourse not workable... When I then switch back to full HD the monitor colors are all over the place. Does anyone know what I can do about this?
