Installing zorin 18.1 ån Acer Spin 111-32n

Hi, I have a notoriously difficult laptop to install any latest versions of linux - be it Mint or Zorin. The laptop us an Acer Spin 111-32n.
Today I am running Zorin 18.1 Pro with kernel 7.0.0-29 on this laptop. Everything works fine.
Anybody out there with this computer needs help please get in touch

I changed to Tutorials & Guides...as no help is needed..... :grin:

Well it's not really a guide. Perhaps it should be in Chat or Feedback. A Tutorial should really include steps how this was achieved. :wink:

They don't have a problem. It is supposed to be a Tutorial, but no steps provided as to how they solved it.

I will amend the title to match that laptop model. I can't find any "Acer Dpin 111-42n" or "Acer Spin 111-42n" from search. I will assume typo's in original title.

I guess this thread could equally reside in the "Installing ZorinOS" section of the forum. I will let others move it again, if considered a better home for it.

There is no problem now. I was just reaching out to other Acer Spin users on how to get to Zorin 18.1 Pro on latest kernel. Sorry if I offended - since you dont like my input i will leave the forum

No, there was nothing wrong with your post. You caIt was a misunderstanding and discussion where to put your post best.

If you like to write a guide for other users, that could really be helpful, but other users can also contact you and ask if they have problems. That's a nice offer on your part. Feel free to stick around on the forum if you like it.

Good you do not have a problem.
Good that you offer other Acer Spin users help if needed.
The debate has been where best to park this thread, as it does not provide a guide as such to warrant being in the "Tutorials" section, so it now sits in the "Chat about Zorin" section.

You didn't offend anyone from my reading of this thread.
Noone has written they don't like your input, quite the opposite.
As Forpli has already written, seems like there has been a misunderstanding somewhere, but I can't see it myself.
