Installing Zorin: A happy accident

I installed Zorin (Free) the other day (after trying ElementaryOS) - my plan was dual boot alongside Windows 11. I've done this loads of times on other laptops - all good and fun.

Installed and , dual boot worked, once. I logged into windows - BSOD. I tried to boot in Zorin - black screen. Tried the old repairo on the windows drives using the Windows "tool" - nada.

Hmm welp. I bit the bullet - reinstalled Zorin and used the whole disk space. It's amazing! I have spent a happy few days setting up apps, connecting drives and accounts etc and honestly, it's fire. I've used Linux on and off since Mandrake 7 days and Linux has come on so much over 26 years.

I am really enjoying Zorin and will be upgrading to pro because it deserves it!

As you were.

Hi and Welcome.

The Unofficial Manual for Zoirin 18.1 Core is still a work-in-progress.
In the meantime you can download the earlier version (or both if you wish!):
