Colleagues, I have a question. I have an external empty SATA 320 GB drive and I would like to install ZorinOS on it. The drive would be connected to a laptop that runs Microsoft Windows 11 pro. Is there such a possibility and is it worth playing around with installing on an external drive? Thank you for every answer. Best regards and have a nice day 
By USB I assume?
Running an OS through a USB link will not provide speedy performance, just like the live USB.

You are not the first to consider running ZorinOS from an external USB drive.
If you search the forum for "ZorinOS USB Drive" you will find some previous discussion threads which may be worth a read. e.g. Zorin os on external drive
