I'm trying to use InvokeAI and managed to successfully install and run it, but I quickly found that it was only generating images via my CPU. InvokeAI claims to have support for AMD GPUs on Linux, but for some reason it's not working. It supposedly works on standard Ubuntu 22.04 or whatnot, but it's not working here.
I went back and forth with ChatGPT and it concluded something about ZorinOS being different than Ubuntu and/or my GPU being of the mobile (laptop) variety, but yea.
Here is the link to the conversation (though I was asking it other unrelated stuff earlier in the conversation so you may have to scroll down a ways to find the relevant portion, sorry. Tried copy-pasting, but for some reason it's only copying my prompts, not ChatGPT's responses, unless I go response by response).
If someone could help me with this it would be much appreciated. I like InvokeAI and don't really like using any other AI image generator programs. Also I only use them to tinker with and make D&D character profiles. I refuse to contribute to generating AI slop for mass media or so, don't worry
