Is there a limit for folder size?

I used mdadm to create a raid 1 with two 2TB HDD. This worked well and the raid drive is mounted autmatically. I had some issues to get the wirte right for the users, but all that was solved. I startet do copy my files to the new folder. After some time, it did stop, because there is not sufficient space on the drive. When I check the properties of the folder graphically, it is stated the maximum available memory is about 450 MB. However, with lsblk I can see, the disks have 1.8T. graphically by using Zorin drives tool it is 2 TB.
Is there a posibility to increase folder size?
Please be patient, I am a complete noob.
