I'm Sébastien, from France, using Linux by philosophy.
I'm not to command lines.
The problem is that my screen is like going to sleep mode while I'm using my computer. I had the same issue (not solved) when using other Gnome (or Ubuntu) powered distros. The issue doesn't appear with KDE.
I could switch to another distro, but I would like to stay with Zorin I appreciate.
If anybody could send help, I would greatly appreciate.

If you have already checked your Sleep and Screensave settings, and it goes to sleep while watching videos, you can install the caffeine Gnome extension.
It prevents the system from going to sleep state:
You would need version 59 for Zorin OS 18.

Can You describe what You do when it suddenly falls in Sleep Mode? Did You checked Settings>Energy and Settings>Privacy>Screen Lock?
It doesn't occur when watching videos.
I checked settings, everything's OK.
What I do is only shake the mouse when it wants to fall in sleep mode.
If you use caffeine, it will do that for you.
Ok, I just installed it. I'll see.

This must mean that your computer is not going to sleep.
Is the screen sometimes just blanking out?
Can you describe the actual symptoms with as much detail as possible?

Nope, the computer doesn't go to sleep mode. Only display.
I stopped the sleep mode for the display (in French, 'Ecran noir' means 'Black screen', and 'jamais' means 'never'). The issue is still there !
What do you mean by "only monitor"?
Does the monitor blank out?
How do you wake the monitor?
It is as if the display is going to sleep, black screen, and monitor displaying a message like loss of connection. I have to shake the mouse, as when I want the computer to leave the sleep mode.
In terminal, can you run If using X11 Xorg:
xset -dpms
Then run:
xset s off
And test.
If using Wayland... well, there are no settings at all.
You need to switch to Xorg first. In Wayland this command doesn't work.
Logout and at login click on your username then a cog wheal appears at the bottom right corner. There select "Zorin Desktop on Xorg".
Now all screensaver functions are disabled. Is it better now for you?
Nope, issue just occurred once more.
Still no solution. I maybe shall try another distro...
Hopefully you still frequent this forum but if so, by any chance do you have a docking station connected to your computer? Perhaps disconnecting it might be the solution.
I found out my docking hub from Anker was not playing nice with my computer. Departing with it was the solution as I no longer have constant random black screen or boot up issues.
