Hello
I've noticed a problem with the tilling feature. When it's enabled, it works as intended, grouping windows according to the current layout. However, when I use the Guake terminal with sliding from the top of the screen, it works correctly when other windows are present and use the layout and Guake is above them. However, when the workspace is empty, Quake is assigned to the layout after invoking, i.e., in the right or left part of the workspace, when it should slide from the top and take up 1/3 of the screen (depending on the setting). Is it possible to add Quake to some exceptions that won't be subject to tilling? It would be helpful for other apps too.

Does You System run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Terminal Command echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
Also: Do You have Fractional Scaling active?
Do you have enabled the automatic tiling in Zorin appearance > Windows > Advanced Window Tiling
You can disable it and test.
Tiling is enabled because I'm using it all the time. Session is Wayland and Fractional scaling is not enabled. It looks like tiling function is causing it (forcing to use active pattern (display splited in to two columns) .
My question is , if is option to set guake to some kind white list which will allow to ignore tiling. It is possible in Cosmic and other managers as I remember.
This only happens when you use the automatic tiling function.
Thats's right.
