Is a very good OS. I use it on my backup pc. I like it a lot. In fact, I may swap out the menu on Lite with the Whisker Menu that Mint XFCE uses.
And... I've done some searching and found some good instructions in the Old Zorin Forum that I used last time. From some fella named Aravisian.. Anyone know of this person? lol
Was afraid link was going to bring me to a pic of Brad Pitt...
This guy has skill's.
If you want to see a violation in terms, Bratt Pitt as WillyWanka in the remake. Lets just say, his character gave me bad Michel Jackson vibes the whole way through.
I think the original movie with Gene Wilder was far far better!
A) That's Johnny Depp.
B) The original is of course way better. Depp did a really, really good job, but Wilder did it perfectly. That's why it's a Classic!
Is it possible that Zorin 16 Lite will be released with Zorin 16.1 together?
@JeffK969 Jeff, I just want to say, you are no longer alone. You gave me the Zorin LITE bug. Once I caught it, I became hooked. I spent 120 dollars for a 1TB NVME M.2 SSD to put Zorin OS 16 LITE on, once its released.
@Aravisian <<<--- This guy also has a way of making you get addicted, and then later re-addicted to his themes. So I blame him too LMAO!
It spreads, like a vir.... Probably shouldn't describe it how I want to with our current state of affairs...lol.
Seems like everyday I say, OK, if not today then tomorrow. Problem is, each day there is a little less enthusiasm behind it...
Probably months
Months? Awwww, but I wanted to go to Toshi station to pickup some power converters. I promise I won't be wasting time with my friends, I need Lite, I need it! HAHA
The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more card
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part.....
From the Late, Great Tom Petty..
For some odd reason I think of this song for every Lite release...
But this go around, I'm singing it A LOT MORE.... lol
I know that song very well, its on our classic rock station that I listen to everytime I go mow yards. Good song analogy to describe our feelings, which we express, with our selfish needs for LITE. LOL
My bet as I have said before; Late December. 24th/25th
Let see if I double my money on that bet
Geez, Storm went way past Thanksgiving (Nov. 25th) even... Oh wait, that's an American thing.
I hope you are way off, meaning closer rather then later.. I don't think I could wait thaaaaaaat long. I know I can't.
If you want to start throwing money around, best way to do that IMO, is to buy a fresh brand new SSD drive specifically for LITE. Thats what I am doing, I ordered a WD-SN750 1TB Black NVME M.2 2280 SSD, I am going to put LITE on it once it finally releases.

I'm drained for my last penny/øre after my move to new apartment.
So no new gadget for me and not to the prices today, I'll wait when the market is floated (sp?) again.
When the tech shortage amped up this year, costs on the same drive I mentioned, went up to like 200 dollars, basically the same cost you can get the 2TB ones now. It took many months this year, and they finally came down to 120.
FYI, 120 for a 1TB NVME drive is just about right. Yeah I know, you can get SATA SSD's for cheaper, but they are considerably slower, so you do get what you pay for. If your board can accept an NVME drive, I suggest people use it, if of course, they can afford to buy one that is.
StarTreker, send Storm your old hard drive....lol
Has anyone tried the hybrid hard drives? I was curious on how they performed, longevity and such.
I should clarify, the NVME drive is not replacing another drive. I have 2 NVME slots on the notebooks motherboard, 1 slot is populated, the 2nd slot is not. I am simply adding additional storage, and will have LITE put on it once released.
Well, on the positive side, Storm lives in a nice place now I think, so at least that is a nice thing.
As far as hybrid drives, there really not that popular. The whole point of them is for cost reduction, as in, costs you less to buy them. But from what I've heard, there is no real considerably performance increase that most people will notice, with a hybrid drive.
Its better to go full SSD
