Hi, I'm trying to install the Japanese and Traditional Chinese (Zhuyin/ bopomofo) keyboard input in Zorin OS 16 (Core) but it's not working. I run the process just like the instruction from here (How to add a keyboard layout). When I switch the language to Japanese/ Chinese, its still working just like an english keyboard.
Any idea on how to fix this issue?

I use Japanese input but I know nothing about Chines.
To enable Japanese input, I have to add Japanese language support in Region and Language section in the Settings. I suppose you need to do the same for Chinese language.

It seems the order of doing things is important. I had to go back and remove the Chinese option I had made and then redo it according to the instructions in this video.
