We've been investigating the issues related to the recent update to the Linux kernel 7.0 in Zorin OS 18 and have just released fixes for them in our repositories around 20 minutes ago. As a result, installing the latest software updates normally (through the Software Updater) as of now should allow you to upgrade from the Linux kernel 6.17 → 7.0 without experiencing a kernel panic.
