Since this distro features Firefox front and center – and since Linux distros have been known to rescue slower systems – it’s important to keep Firefox itself running as smoothly as possible.
Most people know you can speed it up with a solid adblocker, but some sites have those annoying videos that autoload upon arrival and then autoplay. They can really slow things down.
I’ve been using an add-on called AutoplayStopper but then I noticed it was no longer available. Did some searching and found the feature is built into Firefox now.
