When I click on the launch button, it briefly flashes and then nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, restarting the computer, and nothing helps. What has gone wrong with it?
what is this app ?
It's just called "Media Downloader." It is for downloading YouTube videos and other stuff from the Internet. It is in the Zorin software repository.

Maybe try a different Program like Varia. Also: Is the Program You use installed as Flatpak, Snap or APT Package?

Flathub - the default one listed. Up until a couple of days ago this was working fine. See the screenshot.
Maybe you can try what suggested @Ponce-De-Leon, Varia

Thanks guys - I've downloaded Ultimate Media Downloader which seems to do everything I want. I did like Media Downloader, though - nice interface.
