Did You take a Look in the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates if there is a Driver offered?

Could You post the Output of the Terminal Command sudo lshw -C network please? it gives an Overview of Your Network Stuff.

I only found posts that this Mediatek MT7902 doesn't work in linux and there are no drivers available yet.
You could only replace your WLAN/Bluetooth card or use a linux supported USB Wifi-Bluetooth-Dongle.

If your computer allows it, you could look inside and see if the wifi module is replacable. I've been meaning to replace the chip in my laptop with a better supported one that doesn't suffer so many drops. As long as it's not soldered on, it's a relatively quick and painless change, and the chips themselves are relatively cheap to get as well.
