Mic and fingerprint driver

Hello Zorin Team,

My name is Anwar, and I am using Zorin OS on a Huawei MateBook D14. I am having trouble with two specific components and would appreciate your guidance on drivers or kernel patches.

Hardware IDs (from lsusb):

  • Fingerprint: ID 27c6:5125 Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd.
  • Webcam: ID 0408:1040 Quanta Computer, Inc.
  • Audio/Mic: Not showing in USB list (likely Intel SST / Digital Mic Array).

The Issues:

  1. Fingerprint Reader: The device is detected by the system but doesn't show up in the "Users" settings for fingerprint login.
  2. Internal Microphone: The microphone is not detected as an input device. I have tried basic sound settings, but it appears to be a driver/firmware issue common with Huawei "Digital Mic" setups.

Are there any specific libfprint updates or alsa-base.conf configurations you recommend for this specific MateBook model to get these working?

Thank you for your help, Anwar

Fingerprint reader doesn't look good, it seems not to be supported in Linux

yeah mine doesnt seem to be in there, thanks anyway tho.
