I recently installed Zorin on my Dell 7210 tablet/PC. Everything works fine, including the touchscreen. I can use two fingers and a pinch gesture to zoom in or out on an image or document. However, when I open the Mixing Station app, I can't use more than one touch at a time! I thought it was a problem with Mixing Station itself, but when I open another software, X32 edit, the same problem occurs, only one touch at a time... Can anyone suggest a solution? Note: I have multitouch normally in these apps on my tablet/PC in Windows.
In wich package format are those apps installed (apt package, flatpak, snap)?
Mixing Station is available as .deb package on their website. Have you tried it with this .deb package? Download the .deb package and then doubleclick to install it.

You could also test if it makes a difference if you use Wayland or Xorg. You can switch between them at loginscreen. Logout and at login click on your username then a cog wheal appears at the bottom right corner. There you can switch between Xorg and Wayland.
Forgive my ignorance, but how can I know this?
Yes, that's exactly how I installed the app.
I tested this, unfortunately, nothing changed.
When you have downloaded the .deb file, it is a .deb (=apt) package.
In the software store you can see at the right side in which package format an app will be installed (flatpak, Zorin package (apt) or snap. Often you can choose between some variants.
X32 Edit seems not to support multitouch in Linux
When double-tapping the installation file, a window opens saying: mixing-station_2.7.0_amd64.deb is an unknown package.

Multitouch gestures are not mentioned for Linux, unfortunately:
ok, that clears it up... Thanks for the support!
That's normal, because it is not from the Ubuntu or Zorin repository. But you were able to install it, or not (because you habe written that you had installed the package this way)?
Yes, I can install and use both apps normally, I'm just limited in terms of gestures
As far as I have been able to research, these apps do not support multitouch. I'm sorry.
Maybe someone else knows a solution.
