Just installed zorin os, the problem i faced first was the 2nd monitor which was connected from hdmi port in my laptop was not getting detected. For that, I installed nvidia drivers(the latest one) then now the monitor is getting displayed on settings but doesn't do anything. The same monitor works with windows.
What is the make and model of your notebook? (I refuse to use the term you gave your device as it engenders bad practice! It should always be on a desk, not on a lap!)
