My kernel version sticks at 5.15.0-52

My version of Zorin Core is 16.02?
But the current version is 5.15.0-56-generic
Mine does not change that 5.15.0-52-generic?
What can I do about it?
faroud

5.15.0-56 is the kernel version and not the build number from zorin.

As Z16.2 r1 is a minor revision of Z16.2, not a point release or version release, I would expect it to show up as version 16.2 still.
I am not running Z16 but assume from @Michel 's reply, you have the latest kernel offered by Zorin at this time. Others correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I think we both misread somehow, his kernel is stuck at 5.15.52 instead of 5.15.56

@faroud try

sudo apt install linux-headers-5.15.0-56-generic linux-modules-5.15.0-56-generic linux-modules-extra-5.15.0-56-generic linux-image-5.15.0-56-generic

@faroud Also check your Software Updates server source is set to "Main Server" rather than a local/regional server.

Kernel version is not reflected in the Zorin OS version. The latest kernel version is 16.1, the stable version that ZORIN OS uses is 5.15.0-0.56.

Did you mark the 52 kernel in apt to manual? This will prevent upgrades from occurring.

Have you tried using the sudo apt full-upgrade or even dist-upgrade?

@zabadabadoo
This is already on the main server
