My Mouse Touchpad Out of Control

I am posting this from a Windows computer because my laptop with Zorin doesn't work, or should I say it works for itself, because I can't control the mouse!!
I type text and it rearranges it; I move the mouse and it collects text already on the page; it also grabs my browser and won't release it. I have to restart the computer just to get it act normal...but for about ten minutes, then it reverts back to the crazy.
I've checked with the settings, I've check the touchpad, the device manager, which took three times of redoing it, because it was doing the same thing in settings. -And all of it is the same - it won't stop.

I was warned by office to not put this on my laptop. Right now, I'm just trying to find a way to get it off my computer, because there doesn't seem to be a way to stop this from happening.
This is maddening!

For precision, I would prefer to use inxi over lshw to gather the hardware information.
If you can launch terminal and run

sudo apt install inxi

Then relay the output of

inxi -Fxxxrz

You can copy and paste the commands in the terminal to make things easier.

Yes... that sounds very maddening. Most likely, this is just a haywire driver issue that we can fallback to the generic kernel driver to resolve - but would need to know your touchpad specs to know what driver you need.

Moved from Customization to Hardware Support

First of all, apologies for going crazy over this. I was trying to meet a deadline, and my touchpad issues totally pushed me against a wall. Pressure!
Anyway, it's fine now, and I think it's because I reset the touchpad settings, and restarted the laptop. That's the only thing I did, and it's working fine.
It was just the wrong time to set up a new system. Should have waited for the weekend, so I could better prepared. Sorry everyone.
