Please excuse me if I've posted this on the wrong desk, but I'm unsure if my problem fits any category listed.
I’ve been using Zorin OS 17.2 Core for close to a year now without any issues until last week when I decided to install the Dolphin File Manager, only because it gave me a better document preview, but upon rebooting I found an issue where now I cannot access one of my NAS drives.
My Zorin is running on a MSI B450 mb with 8GB ram. I have three NAS devices, A Terramaster F4-220, A QNAP TS-x31K, and a home built NAS running OpenMediaVault. All NAS units work fine and without issue and are no problems with access from Windows 11 and linux Mint (via samba).
On this pc using Zorin, I can access both the Terramaster and QNAP units without any issue but when I open a folder on the OpenMediaVault NAS and insert my name and password I get a message telling me “Failed to retrieve share list from server. Invalid argument”.
The funny thing is, that I’s not unique to Zorin, even with a new install I get the same result, also, if I install either Debian or Fedora I have no access, but not Linux Mint which works fine. As I said earlier, it worked without issue on Zorin until last week.
For info, If I use a live USB stick on the pc I can access my NAS without issue on Fedora (albeit Fedora takes nearly a minute to find my units), but not if I install it to my SSD. Sadly Zorin wont allow access at all.
Any suggestions on where to start to solve this issue would be welcome.
