It seems that Zorin doesn't have an ARM installer for Mac silicon. The only Linux distro that I have found that seems to do a good job of installing Linux on a Mac silicon is Fedora Asahi Remix. Would have really liked to have installed Zorin on my Mac, but it seems i will have to wait until a Zorin ARM installer appears some time in the future. Should that occur, I assume that I will have no problem changing from Fedora to Zorin. Not interested in any dual boot or virtualization installation.
Are there any known plans for Zorin to spread it's wings to new Mac's ¿?
Support for ARM architecture has been talked about by the devs for some time, but not there yet. See: Making an Arm version
Well, good to know it may be in the works. Thanks.
Thanks. Familiar with this excellent tutorial for installing Ubuntu. Decided to give Feodora a try while I wait for a Zorin ARM option. I expect a Linux installation on my MacBook Air M2 will be a superior experience than MacOS. Will see.
