I am a French user of Zorin OS 18.1, and I love it! It gave new life to my old i5 PC, which was slow on Windows 10 and incompatible with Windows 11.

I have an idea to improve the Dwell Click feature (Accessibility > Mouse > Hover-to-Click). Currently, to make it efficient, the delay must be set to very short. However, this causes accidental clicks when moving the mouse quickly.

The problem:
When the delay is short, it’s hard to highlight text or open a right-click menu without triggering an unwanted click. Even a tiny mouse movement cancels the selection.

Proposed solution:
Add an option to temporarily disable Dwell Click when the right mouse button is pressed. This would allow:

Fast navigation with hover.
Full control when right-clicking or highlighting text.
No accidental clicks.
This would make click-free navigation truly viable and silent (no more mouse click sounds!).

Pour être honnête je ne pense pas que ces modifications aient lieu un jour car ces fonctionnalités dépendent de Ubuntu et ça doit être le cadet de leur soucis...
Tu aurais plus de chance avec d'autres app, j'ai trouvé ceci mais je n'y connais pas grand chose dans ce domaine

tu peux aussi regarder du c^té des extension gnome s'il a un tweak pour toi

hou, effectivement pas eu de réponse de Zorin mais pas grave, j'ai abandonné l'espoir de naviguer ainsi car même en ayant rajouté 1 script avec 1 IA qui désactive cette fonction laissant le temps d'utiliser le menu contextuel, ça reste trop difficile avec trop d'actions indésirées... par contre l'IA de Mistral m'a bien aidé à mettre toutes les améliorations que Zorin pourrait peux être en tenir compte, j'ai tous notifié ici dans l'espoir que ça puisse vous aider. à + aoi
