Hello, is an upgrade path open to all versions or just Pro version?

Is the Pro version the better investment?

The Direct Upgrade path is currently In Development. You can sign up for the Zorin Newsletter for word of its release:

Once released, it will be available to all users, not just Pro users.

Zorin OS Pro is an investment in the Zorin Project. It is how the ZoringGroup is funded, allowing the ZorinGroup to work Full-Time on Zorin OS.
You might look at Zorin OS Pro as a donation with some perks.

In my opinion - Standard Zorin OS / Zorin OS Lite is worth the investment, much less Pro.
