whioch do you go for??

thanks for the help by the way

Secure Boot acts just like a bouncer at a nightclub.

Microsoft signs off on packages that initialize at boot. If they are signed, secure boot allows them to proceed. If they are unsigned, it does not.

As you can imagine, a lot of legitimate packages do not get a Microsoft signature. This includes linux kernels and Nvidia drivers; Microsoft cannot devout too much time to checking then signing packages which get such frequent updates and releases that are not Microsoft specific.

Secure boot can be quite useful on Windows in situations where the end user is at high risk by exploring many different packages to run; relying on questionable links or sources; etc. GnuLinux is not targeted by viruses intended for Windows OS.

Exceptionally low.
Zorin OS and GnuLinux has several comprehensive layers of security. While Secure Boot is a generalized catch-all at init, we use more refined means that are multi-step. So does Windows, but Windows also has a more threatened ecosystem.
Your first priority would be UFW (Uncomplicated FireWall), rather than init.

You would want to choose "Custom" and follow the prompts from there to set to disabled.
