Night Light Sunset to Sunrise times are innaccurate

I've been trying to use Zorin's built-in Night Light feature, but the automatic Sunset to Sunrise times are completely wrong. The sunset to sunrise time currently in my city is from around 5:45pm to around 6:45am, but Zorin is set at 8:13pm to 9:25am (in the Toronto timezone).

I messed around with it a lot and found that it was inaccurate for pretty much any timezone I put it in. It doesn't seem to factor in latitude at all (the Toronto timezone has the same sunset and sunrise times as Iqaluit, both of which are UTC -5, but are in very different latitudes, for example). The closest to accurate it gets is around the Los Angeles time zone, where the differences between the actual times and the times night light gives are less than an hour, but still not exactly correct. The farther you get from this area, the less accurate it gets (the sunset/sunrise times in asia make no sense at all)

I duel boot Windows, and my Bios clock was wrong, but I fixed it, which had no effect on this (my time on Windows is also accurate). My location services are on, my timezone is accurate. I just upgraded to Zorin 18 Pro, but this problem was also present before I upgraded, I'm only now deciding to deal with it properly. Here's my system information:

I don't know if this is related to weather info in respect of mozilla sunsetting time zones/location.

There is a workaround for you to manually set sunrise and sunset times in the interface.

yeah this is it, but the user try to have automatic schedule and it's not accurate, that's why He can have a look at his time zone

You can also try to configure weather with your city, maybe it's used by the system for night light mod (it use location)

I'm not sure if you can setup coordinates for the integrated nightlight function. In Redshift you are able to. Maybe that could also help to get the correct times for the automatic nightlight switcher.

mine have the accurate time, so it use something on my system, time zone or weathe (for location)

You have a Dual-Boot System. Did You set up the Time properly for this? In Zorin, open the Terminal and type:

timedatectl set-local-rtc 1 --adjust-system-clock

then boot in Windows and go there in the Time Settings and click on the ''Synchronize Time'' Button.

Thanks for all the replies y'all. To be clear, I can manually set the sunset and sunrise times, that works fine, it's just a pain because I'd need to reset it every week or so as the nights get shorter or longer over the course of the year, and presumably if the automatic sunset/sunrise time function worked, I wouldn't need to bother with that.

I set the time in the terminal using timedatectl and made sure the Windows time was synced just now, it doesn't seem to have affected anything.

I will also say: while messing around with this (and attempting to get redshift to work as an alternative) I noticed that some parts of my system seem to think I am in Calgary (I am in a city in Canada, but nowhere near Calgary). Redshift-gtk automatically assumes my coordinates are in Calgary, and also the weather app thinks I'm in Calgary when I look at the popup from the taskbar...

....but when I actually open the weather app it shows the city I am actually in (don't wanna dox myself tho):

I have no idea if this has anything to do with the incorrect times in the night light settings, but I figured it might be worth mentioning.
