I have a 2‑in‑1 laptop, and the screen is not rotating correctly in tablet mode after installing Zorin OS 18 Pro. In Settings → Display → Orientation, if I choose Landscape (flipped), the screen rotates as expected and I click Keep changes. However, when I fold the device into tablet mode, the screen immediately switches back to normal landscape instead of staying flipped. Auto‑rotation worked perfectly on this same device with Zorin 17 Pro, so this behavior only started after upgrading to Zorin 18.
Did you test if it works with Xorg if you are on Wayland?
Logout and at login click on your username then a cog wheal appears at the bottom right corner. There select "Zorin Desktop on Xorg".
If it doesn't help you could try this gnome extension:
Install gnome extension manager
sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-manager
then go to tab "browse" and search the extension. With click on "install" you can install it.

@peoplepower you can have a look here as well.
@zenzen did a lot of effort in trying to fix my issue. ![]()
I did not tried everything of the possible solutions, as I ordered a new laptop.
(in the end it was just switching from Xorg to Wayland)
