Can anyone help please. Zorin 17.3 GT1030 nvidia card give no sound onto TV and showing only Dummy output. It works with the standard driver but picture is not full screen Set up works fine in windows 11 and had the same issue with Linux mint but I prefer Zorin these days
Can you please launch terminal and try the following steps. You can use Copy and right click paste - One line at a time into the terminal, following each with the enter key:
sudo apt remove --purge '^nvidia-.*'
sudo apt --fix-broken install && sudo apt update
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-550 nvidia-dkms-550
I think 550 should work on GT1030...

If the 550 Driver that @Aravisian shows shouldn't work, I would suggest to try it with the 535 Driver instead. The Steps are the same like @Aravisian already describted, except that You have to change the 550 to 535 in the Commands.
And because You use a Nvidia Card, I would recommedn to switch to Xorg. Zoroin comes by default with Wayland. So, You shoudl take a Look in Settings>ABout if there stands Wayland or X11. If there stands Wayland switch to X11/Xorg this Way:
Go to the Logn Screen (not the Lock Screen). Simply reboot for that. On the Login Screen click on Your Profile so that the Password Field appears. It hast to be appeared. When it is appeared, You should see in the bottom right Corner a Gear Icon. Click on it and choose the Option ''Zorin Desktop on Xorg'' and then log in.
