Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 sound issue

Installed Zorin OS 18 education in a dual boot setup with no problems but one. Zorin sees my Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 graphics card but no sound comes through the speakers. I have logitech speakers and when I am in settings/sound and I play a video the upper right sound bar shows that sound is playing but nothing is coming through the speakers. I have followed every help request that the website has provided with no results. Reinstalled Nvidia drivers, pulseaudio with no results. What am I missing?

Done some websearches using searchterm: "Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 no speakers Ubuntu 24.04"

Found this: No Audio Output From Internal Speaker on Ubuntu 24.04 New Installation, Kernel 6.11( Alienware 16 Area 51 laptop) - #14 by anon36188615 - Support and Help - Ubuntu Community Hub

That suggests lack of kernel support until 6.16.

I could find little else that would be of use.

I would normally have suggested firing up alsamixer from terminal and have a play with settings there, (e.g. muted channels, auto-mute setting, loopback-mode setting), but I doubt if alsamixer would provide a solution.

What Nvidia Driver do You use? Does You System run in Wayland or X11? You can check that with the Command echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled? Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?
