I installed Zorin OS along side Windows 7 on an older computer with a Nvidia Geforce 530 graphics card. When I looked in the about section the graphics are listed as "NVC1" and the additional drivers section is completely empty. How can I get the corrct drivers for my GT 530?

On Zorin OS 18, users trying to install the Legacy drivers have needed to take on so many headaches... I would not even recommend it at this point.
Zorin OS 17.3 is still supported until next year, and may be easier to get the drivers installed for that older Nvidia card.

Thanks for all the info. I'm new to Linux. Would this problem be the same no matter the distro? Meaning that the problem is that Nvidia no longer updates this card (which would make sense due to age) or is it that an alternative distro of Linux would still offer updated drivers?
The nvidia legacy drivers 340 and 390 are no longer supported by nvidia and get no updates.

While Zorin OS has moved to a point of attracting newer hardware, even deciding to Sunset the Zorin OS Lite edition, there are many distros that still provide support for older hardware. MXLinux comes to mind.
And... Zorin OS 17.3 Lite.
As Forpli pointed out, the Legacy drivers get no updates - but you can still use the drivers.
