Nvidia Problem some games Freezing

Hi,
I have ZorinOS 15 Core. I have a problem with some games with nvidia - most works really well but God of War for instance freezes after 15-20 minutes. And then If I not close the game quickly I need to terminate process from Ctrl+Alt+F4 terminal mode or sometimes use SysReq+REISUB. When running this game in steam from terminal it shows

GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion ‘G_IS_OBJECT (object)’ failed

when launching nvidia-settings I get the same error. Maybe this error is not related to freezing - I don't know. Help? Tips?

I have system up to date. Kernel is XanMod.

I have never tested this on Zorin OS...

This can be ignored. It is unrelated and also quite common. It's a tehme appearance warning, more than anything else.

Can you relay the output from your terminal for

inxi -G

Which Nvidia Driver are you using? Do not use the driver marked (Proprietary - tested)...

The inxi Command was not found and nvidia-smi works but it looks ok I guess.

I see the problem already, your not using the proprietary Nvidia driver for your GPU, according to the info, its not loading the driver, its using the Linux Nouvea driver.

Anyways, click the Zorin icon bottom of screen, type "Additional Drivers" Click on that.

Install this driver that you see me using in the list. DO NOT use any of the TESTED drivers, only PROPRIETARY. Weather that be 460, 470, 495.

Install, then reboot your system afterwords, things should be OK now as far as the driver is concerned.

Ok, So I have 470 driver but error still exists. At least when running nvidia-settings from terminal. I will check the game later.

but lets back to the topic. God of War freezes no errors in journalctl. Well in steam there is something with gamemoderun.so error but I don't think it's related. And when starting a game there was RM_LIMIT>=20. game starts - I moved from one room to the other and crash.

God of War is a Windows game, so it may not run perfectly (yet) on Linux. Which Proton version are you running? Have you considered using a custom Proton?

Well I'm using latest official that is recommended 6.3-8 but most people say "runs better than on windows" or "plays like native" well I know it's a windows game but man I wanted to be played on linux Anyway I played today on windows and: same pc, higher settings and more fps on... windows. I will try that Proton-7.1-GE-2 later today. Same thing happend to Devil May Cry 5. I finished it on windows

I checked God of War with new proton 7 and 7-GE and my system freezed. I applied fixes from protondb and still no go. Funny thing - on new proton even intro is smooth but once I load the level hang. I found in logs today that some keys from nvidia taint is missing. I don't know is it related or not. And something with power there . Is it normal?

Recommend using the 510 Nvidia driver if available - the 470 Proprietary Tested driver is buggy.

The UUID is of windows games partition. I have 2 drives one - WinOS and Zorin and second one with games split by Win/Linux. This could be the problem I think. If anyone could look at the logs and exclude the nvidia then I think I will have to replace that drive.

Ok, so I commented out that partition in fstab. But still freezed. Now I changed kernel back to original and still freezed whole system. So I changed kernel to liquorix and now the system not freezed but just game crash. In logs there is out of memory. And maybe thats the problem becouse when I launch UnityEditor 2020 and browser - brave, midori or something else after few minutes whole system is freezing. Is there workaround for freezing from ' out of memory ' error in linux?
