Small observation that some may find useful:
Zorin tells me that my temperatures are high:
However this is not true. All 4 cores are 31-33 degrees. What's causing it? In my BIOS I disabled Intel Turbo Boost to keep my thermals under control. If you do this, Zorin reports this message in settings. Enable Turbo again, and it goes away.

This is poor wording on the notifications part.
When an application gives a warning, it cannot form a sentence of it's own. The program supplies a list of displayed notifications that the programmer thinks will fit the error.
In this case, I think that Turbo is a high performance setting that Gnome expects. Since it is disabled, it concludes something is wrong.
It prints it's selected canned message.
Indeed, the notification is just worded badly but it's getting at the right idea!
