I'm comming from the windows world ans I have very low knowelge on linux world

Is secure boot disabled? If not, turn it off.

third full resinstalation.
this time I havent configure secure boot
this step always failed: sudo systemctl enable iptsd
Failed to enable unit: Unit file iptsd.service does not exist.
for information I have a huge exprerience on windows but I am a beginer on linux

so just check BIOS for the secure boot option off to enter it for most computers on boot spam ESC then you should be in bios but be careful thats system software so just find the secure boot and if it still won't work then i suggest use Rufus or Balena Etcher to Flash the usb

I'm wondering if the Zorin guide needs to be adapted for Zorin 18.

Maybe you can find some helpful information here:

"Important: Support for iptsd only goes back to the latest LTS release at the time of writing (Debian 11 and Ubuntu 22.04). If you are using an older release, and the above command fails, then please remove iptsd from it. You will still be able to use basic singletouch through the kernel driver, but multitouch and the stylus will not work."

But Zorin 18 is based on ubuntu 24.04 which is a newer release.
For Zorin 17 the guide worked.
