OS flavor recommendations & Is Zorin good idea for 2-in-1 laptops (University Student)

Zorin OS 17 ships with kernel 6.8 at this time, and it's planned to increase this to the latest HWE version (6.11) within the next month or two.

I want to mention that the Linux kernel in Zorin OS 17 is expected to be updated to version 6.11 next month or in March, ahead of the launch of Zorin OS 17.3.

NVram Locked (Zorin not found in efibootmgr)

As the computer has a modern NVIDIA graphics card, we would recommend booting the Zorin OS USB Install Drive with the "Try or install Zorin OS (modern NVIDIA drivers)" option before installing Zorin OS to the computer. In our experience with similar customer support queries, we've also found that changing the computer's boot mode from "BIOS" / "Legacy" to "UEFI" typically resolves the "NVRAM locked" issue.
