Oversized Dialogue Box in Libreoffice

Screenshot is of my entire screen after going to Libreoffice>tools>options. The dialogue box spreads over the edge of the visible screen.

Screen resolution is 1920x1080 which is optimal for everything else. Have spent a long time trying every suggested solution I could find, to no effect. Any suggestions welcome.

By holding the alt key down, while using the mouse to grab the window, you can then drag the window edges into view.
Can you try doing this so you can grab the window edges and resize the window to a smaller and more desired size.

Once done - exit LibreOffice entirely, then launch and navigate to the dialog and see if it now displays that size.

Thanks for your reply. Tried that. The 'resize' arrows at the corner disappear. Can move the dialogue box around, but not resize. And tried double tapping on the track pad and found 'resize.' Funnily enough this can make it BIGGER but not smaller.

huh...

So it is launching at minimum size and that is huge?
You might try resetting its configurations:

mv ~/.config/libreoffice ~/.config/libreoffice.bak

Reboot, then test... I find it unlikely that the LibreOffice default is to have a minimum size larger than your resolution. But it may be a bug...

Afraid so. Followed your directions. No error message. No change.

I just tried opening LibreOffice > Tools > Options and the window opened what I would consider to be a normal size for what it contains.

Can we try something weird: Can you Switch to a different GTK theme, then test this process?

Have installed the Material Black Berry theme (as per the instructions on this site). This isn't showing up on>appearance >Zorin Appearance> Other>Applications.

For your interest, I booted with a live Zorin USB and the menus appeared at the right size. I might just go for a fresh installation.

Thanks for your answers and suggestions.

If you are open to that option, it is a great option.

Yeah I think I know when to give up when things get twitchy like this and are beyond my expertise to fix. Just reinstalled afresh and things look fine now.

Thanks for your help
