I have been using Zorin pro for serveral months without any problems. Updated as recommended two days ago, then powered down the computer. Booted up again yesterday and my password will not work. I am locked out of my computer now. Please help! Thank you.

I've found a weird glitch where if I boot up my HP Pavillion, but don't sign in for a few minutes, it tells me my password is wrong. I have to restart it and then it accepts the same password! I know it's a glitch and not my fault because my password is just 000000. (I live alone and my laptop is my entertainment system, so I never take it to work.). Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, have you rebooted and tried again? It could be that simple.

Could it be that the Caps Lock Button is accidentially active? Or that maybe a different Keyboard Layout is active?
Thank you everyone! I had already checked caps lock, etc., and had rebooted several times without success. However, the video was the salvation! The access to the grub menu took a little different process than on the video. For others who might encounter the same problem, when you hold the shift key during startup you have a few options, one of which is to boot in recovery mode, then you will see the options that follow and find the grub menu access there. After that be sure that you enter the information as shown on the actual computer screen via which the instructor is demonstrating the process. The titles that pop up separately to show you the key entries do not match, so be careful. Thanks again, and keep up the good work.
