Ciao a tutti.
Qualche suggerimento?
This can happen if the XBox left the drive in what Windows would consider a "dirty" state.
Generally, the resolution is to connect that drive to a Windows OS computer, then run chkdisk on it to correct the errors.
I believe there is a GnuLinux solution in terminal, but look it up.
Thanks, tomorrow I will try
Please keep in mind, Linux will not allow you to change all drive permissions, unless you open Nautilus with SUDO privileges, I covered this in my tutorial here...
Hopefully this helps!
I don't like that, Microsoft just can't help themselves to corrupt storage drives. As you know, I've been made aware of what they have done to SSD drives, after the Windows 11 update.
It is NTFS, so, GnuLinux drive permissions are not relevant to it - There can be some Linux workarounds if there is Zero access to a Windows PC.
But using Windows to correct NTFS is by far, the preferred method.
I'm not entirely sure about that, but it could be that the Connection to the XBox makes it usable on it but affect the Usage as a normal external Drive.
Thank you everyone. I solved with the solution given by Startreker and it is better than searching for a Windows system (I no more use it).
