I put it to Documents, but it didn't work. I'll try again with another place. Ah, or I have to add bash to autostart command, I only entered the path there.
it is not the place, you have to reboot, it's from the session startup

Now I understand what you mean with binary. I found a desktop file for auto-theme in ~/.config/autostart which leads to /usr/bin/zorin-auto-theme
That means, it can't be edited, yes?
Exactly, you can't edit it like a python or a bash.

You're welcome. I hope you can figure it out! It was interesting trying to find a solution for that...
Note: You don't need the script if you use the GNOME extension. I was just curious about how to do that without a GNOME extension.
