Hello everyone and the team,
I switched from Windows 11 to Linux Mint, but since I couldn’t fix my screen scaling and similar issues, I removed it and went back to Windows 11. Because there are so many Linux distributions and I saw many user-focused recommendations, I decided to try Zorin OS. After the installation, what do you recommend? I mainly use the internet for standard tasks, Termius, server management, and website work.
Could you please share your suggestions for what to do after installing Zorin OS?
By your description, it doesn't sound like you do office, production, education, or gaming. It sounds like you do, mainly IT server management. You brought up........
If thats an app you have used on Windows, good news, its on Linux natively too!
The first Thing might be updating the System. Then depending if You use a Nvidia Card would be switching to Xorg if You have one.
Because you use Core, installing the Extension Manger would be a good Idea in my Opinion. You can manage the installed Gnome Extensions and install new one.
And depending if You use Snap or Flatpak, You could uninstall it if you don't want/need it.
Thank you very much for the manual you provided — it's excellent.
I would like to ask for permission to translate it into Turkish and publish it on my blog.
Whom should I contact for this permission? I want to help close the gap in Turkish documentation for Zorin OS. @swarfendor437
