Problema ao tenter iniciar "Configurações" (Settings)

Olá, eu instalei o Zorin OS recentemente, ao editar meu ambiente de trabalho, percebi que instalei/atualizei/ selecionei alguma opção que está impossibilitando eu acessar o programa "Configurações". Tentei de diversas formas reverter esse problema e não consegui, por exemplo, tentei instalar e reinstalar o Gnome Control Center e não funcionou.

Ao digitar:

$ gnome-control-center

Recebo essa mensagem:

Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/x86_64/dl-machine.h: 541: elf_machine_rela_relative: Assertion `ELFW(R_TYPE) (reloc->r_info) == R_X86_64_RELATIVE' failed!

Alguém consegue me ajudar?

como faço pra saber? Porque eu instalei algumas coisas e quando eu percebi, já não havia mais como acessar configurações.
