Hello:
I want to extend my battery life.
I’ve been advised to install TLP.
I’ve also been told to uninstall some processes that run when the operating system boots up. However, I don’t know which processes can be disabled without compromising system performance. I also don’t know how to do it.
I would be very grateful if you could guide me on this.
I should note that I configured Zorin OS 18.1 Pro to “low power” mode in the power settings. However, the battery only lasted an hour, whereas it used to last three hours.
Thank you very much in advance.
Alexandros

If you don't use your machine for gaming then change the power setting to Power Save.
If you don't use bluetooth, disable it, but appreciate it if this interferes with wifi. You can also disable networking temporarily and only turn it on when needed, same for Bluetooth.
If you want a complete guide look here:
He also has a walkthrough YouTube video at the bottom of this article.
