Problems with booting Zorin from 2nd Drive

Moderator Note: I've created a new Thread for Your Issue.

When You are in Linux Mint, open GParted - You can install it with sudo apt install gparted - and post a Screenshot of the Partitions please.

Did You checked if You have in Your BIOS and ''ubuntu'' entry? If yes, when You start that, does Zorin boot?

When You type in Linux Mint sudo os-prober does Zorin gets detected?

boa noite, obrigado por responder, estou enviando o print tirado a partir

do linux mint

Can you please post a screenshot with the partitions of your SATA ssd (also use gparted)?

I would agree to @Forpli. It would be good when You would post the Partition Table from the SSD, too. In the uppder right Section of GParted, You can see Your Drive. Click on it to choose the other Drive.

Because You have windows instalkled, I forgot to ask:

  • Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
  • Ist Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?

Hmm, it looks like You have there an ext4 System Partition but no EFI Partition.

When You have installed Zorin, did You choose the Option ''Install Zorin alongside Windows''?

nao, eu instalou apagar tudo... fazer do zero....

Okay, but then is the EFI Partition missing. I see on Your Picture of the Drive some Space (513MB) as ''no alocado'' marked. That looks like the Space or a EFI Partition. But it seems not created.

Okay, when You are in BIOS look for the Boot Order. There You should find different Entries. And for Zorin there should be an Entry called ''ubuntu''. Start this one and see if it starts in Zorin. Because You have Linux Mint installed, it can be that You maybe have 2 Entries. You have to try them.

Beneath that, You could try to start Zorin from the USB Stick if You still should have it. When started, choose the Option ''Try Zorin'' to run in Live Mode from the USB Stick. Search there for ''Boot Repair'' and let it run.

Make sure "secure boot" & "fast boot" are turned off in the BIOS.

This thread

has been split, and it's not entirely clear to me, why. Did you reinstall Zorin after the boot problem with tty, or is it still the old system that was corrupted by adding the i386 architecture?
Your BIOS boot entry for Zorin is missing now (I think there should actually be two ubuntu entries, one for Zorin and one for Mint). You did run boot repair from Zorin live usb stick and it didn't help, or?

My Guess would be that the Boot Stuff is not there. Okay, we go a Step back. When You installed zorin, what Option did You choose during the Installation Process? Install Zorin alongside Windows, Erase Disk or Something else?

bom dia, tudo bem ? ja desativei essas duas opções.... aguardo... obrigado...

Becaus it is Zorin, I would try the Repair with the Zorin Stick.

Depending if You have important Files on Zorin, You could try it with a fresh Installation, too. And when You install it, choose the Option ''Something else'' and there choose the Drive and mark it with / and format it to ext4 and on the Option ''Device for boot loader installation'' choose the Windows Boot Manager.

boa tarde a todos, ainda eu nao consegui inicializar meu Zorin, alguem pode me ajudar por favor ? obrigado...
