Problems with the Software app

I suddenly can't use the software app anymore. It just keeps loading, showing no reaction.
Any ideas why that is? What can I do to change it?

For a better solution, don't use Software but use Synaptic Package Manager, or if you want something similar to Software, use Apper instead:

sudo apt install synaptic

or

sudo apt install apper
