Can't log in to proton vpn keep getting incorrect credentials.
If this is a problem with seahorse how do I uninstall sea horse it is a pain in the rear.
How did you install Proton VPN ? Flatpak or deb ?

I'm a Proton VPN user on Zorin 18.1, and I installed it following the instructions from Proton Support.

uninstalled to reinstall it but it won't install.
Tried this yesterday kept saying it won't install it again after I uninstalled it to try and reintall it to see if that sorted the problem.
What is the error ?

Please don’t try to check the GPG signature of the release package itself (dpkg-sig –verify). Our internal release process is split into several parts; the release package is signed with a GPG key, and the repo is signed with another GPG key. So the keys don’t match.

Install the Proton VPN repository containing the app.

sudo dpkg -i ./protonvpn-stable-release_1.0.8_all.deb && sudo apt update -
Install the app.
Run:
sudo apt install proton-vpn-gnome-desktop

I've been having problems with Proton VPN also .... seems they designed it for Gnome DE when using Linux ..... I don'y use Gnome DE on either Zorin or Mint as I run Cinnamon DE on both ..... they said they were looking into a version for Mint Cinnamon buy no idea when it will come out ....
I have to manually start and choose an ISP each time I do a start-up .... no auto start and there is no icon for the taskbar either ..... I don't recall having this problem with the free version but definitely do in the paid .....

I only recently found out that Proton VPN only supports Gnome DE so I installed RiseUp!
I once looked at Mullvad browser, but post install it states you need to use it with Mullvad VPN for full security ... which is a subscription service!
Personally I find VPNs a pain as if you want to go Internet shopping you have to turn it off.

LOL .... that's funny because with me it is just the opposite ..... I have to turn mine on because a lot of stores in the US ban the ISP's if coming from the Philippines due to extreme copy write infractions .... to much pirating going on here ......

You don't have added the proton vpn repository, because of this you can't install the package.
How do I add the repository
As @SAPien has showed you or as described in the guide of post no. 3. Click on the copy icons to copy the commands, and then paste them by right-clicking into the terminal. One after another and after each command press enter.

Hm...The repository is not added even when you entered the right commands. I haven't found out the error yet and I'm going to test it.
Did you check the integrity of the downloaded file with the second command? There should be shown OK, if not, remove the .deb file and download it again.
I tried it with the same commands, and for me it worked, and the repo is shown afterwards.
Do you have the file "protonvpn-stable.sources" at /etc/apt/sources.list.d"?
What is the content of the file?
