Question: Browser and Youtube ads

I watched that same video and installed it. Ended up with 3 extensions including Google Hangouts that I could neither uninstall or disable.

Well I guess it was telling in the video that he said he still used Google. I have replaced Google with Mojeek in the search engine.

Isn't watching Youtube as good as jumping into Google's pocket? There is no point in closing a gate without walls.
