There's a possibility that I might be able to buy the place I've been living in for the last few years, and as I already know all its faults, I'm prepared to put in a lot of hard work to drag it out of the 1980s.
When I was in college, I took Technical Drawing to Advanced standard (British A Level and I really enjoyed it too), but I never pursued it into Uni, and I've never touched CAD.
I had a sleepless night last night, while my brain decided to retrieve all my TD memories from archive... I'm surprised how much I remember without even putting pencil to paper, BUT, I don't have the space or equipment to draw plans out (plus, I have C A T S...
multiple, pesky ones...). However, I do have computers I could use.
Could anyone tell me if LibreOffice Draw is any good? I'm very lucky that the property is almost perfectly square, and only one floor, so it's not a complicated project. I'm going to search for YouTube tutorials but if anyone knows of a good one, or even another FOSS app I can run in Zorin, I'd really appreciate the advice.
TIA
