Hi I reverted to Zorin light via "sudo" now I can not delete programs? please see screen grab, just need the basics and maybe one game, thank you.
Have you tried running the command that was suggested in the screenshot?

Open terminal and run
sudo dpkg --configure -a
Sorry. My phone formatted it wrong and I needed to add sudo. Try copying and pasting it now
mikeart@mikeart-Z170-Gaming-K3:~$ sudo dpkg --configure -a
[sudo] password for mikeart:
mikeart@mikeart-Z170-Gaming-K3:~$
Just keeps asking for password? is there a way to clean instal via sudo command
After you put in the command you need to insert whatever you made the “root” password.
Probably what you use to login to the computer.
I'm sure you have better things to do. lol, going to give it some thought, just can not get a response from your suggestions, It's usable but awfully slow. May have to reinstall. Thank you so much for your time.
Depending on what happened to initially cause the issue that may be the best thing to do.
